Darjeeling Hill Station is  at 2000 m above sea level making it one of the most ideal hill stations for all seasons.

“Darjeeling Himalayan Railway “, which connects Darjeeling to  the downtown, is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nilgiri Mountain Railway, in Tamilnadu also is a  UNESCO World Heritage site.

Darjeeling is the tea capital of India and is famous for the “Darjeeling Tea”, a specialty tea produced in Darjeeling, which is a patented product based on the geographical location it is produced.
